Building a mountain residence in a remote location that was a stunning as its surroundings, meant rising to the occasion. The setting is breathtaking- nestled beautifully on a ridge overlooking the Colorado Springs Front Mountain Range. But, building in a remote location was a task that required skill, expertise, and endurance. The sprawling rancher was expertly designed to take advantage of the views from the entire back of the residence including a sunroom, vaulted ceiling and windows, and an expansive deck. Built to weather all mother nature can throw her way, the house has durable metal roofing with beautifully designed pitches that also help with snow loads. Siding and deck material is a highly durable composite that didn’t sacrifice on beauty, but provide durability and easy maintenance. Interior finishes balance between rustic, industrial, and modern clean lines that come together in an elevated yet casual feel.
